What to do with wool

One of the most ancient materials for clothes is wool. Very shortly after our ancestors, the cave men, learned that you can carry half a dead furry animal or piles of fur to keep warm, they discovered spinning wool. And what a congenial material wool is! It has so many qualities that even high tec fibres do not reach – isn’t that cool.

If you are a wool aficionado and are fond of wool, you most probably will want to work with it. The first thing you could think about is spinning wool. I found a nice interesting site about that on a german blog: Wolle spinnen

Last but not least you will want to knit with your wool, and let’s be honest, although it can be really fun to do all the things like spinning and dyeing yourself, most of the time you will just buy a good ball of wool in a shop.
